A Legacy of Excellence

From a small workshop in Geneva to the world's most prestigious wrists, our journey is written in time.

Vintage Watch Movement

The Art of Precision Since 1842

Founded in the heart of Geneva by master watchmaker Antoine Chronos, our maison has remained steadfast in its commitment to horological excellence. What began as a modest atelier crafting pocket watches for European nobility has evolved into one of the most respected names in haute horlogerie.

Every timepiece that bears the Chronos name undergoes rigorous testing and meticulous assembly. Our master craftsmen, trained for decades in the traditions of Swiss watchmaking, devote countless hours to ensuring each component meets our exacting standards.

We believe that a watch is more than a timekeeping instrument—it is a mechanical poem, a legacy passed from one generation to the next, a testament to human ingenuity and artistry.

Uncompromising Craftsmanship

Every Chronos timepiece represents hundreds of hours of meticulous work by our master artisans.

Where Art Meets Engineering

In our manufacture nestled in the Jura mountains, tradition and innovation converge. Each movement begins as a raw concept, sketched by our designers before being transformed into reality by our master watchmakers.

We manufacture over 90% of our components in-house, from the tiniest screw to the most complex tourbillon cage. This vertical integration ensures absolute quality control and allows us to push the boundaries of mechanical watchmaking.

Our finishing techniques—Côtes de Genève, perlage, anglage, and black polish—are executed entirely by hand, requiring years of training to master. These decorative elements serve both aesthetic and functional purposes, reducing friction and protecting delicate surfaces.

Horological Complications

Mastering the most complex functions in watchmaking, from perpetual calendars to minute repeaters.

Perpetual Calendar

Automatically adjusts for months with 28, 29, 30, and 31 days, requiring no manual correction until the year 2100.

Tourbillon

A rotating cage that counters the effects of gravity on the escapement, enhancing precision in a mesmerizing display.

Minute Repeater

Chimes the hours, quarters, and minutes on demand using two gongs, representing the pinnacle of acoustic engineering.

Split-Seconds Chronograph

Measures intermediate times without interrupting the ongoing measurement, essential for timing multiple events.

Equation of Time

Displays the difference between mean solar time and true solar time, a complication rooted in astronomical observation.

Grande Sonnerie

Automatically strikes the hours and quarters, requiring a complex system of racks, snails, and gongs to produce perfect melody.
